El Vogue es el estilo de baile m\u00e1s representativo de la comunidad LGBT+.
Se define como una forma de baile estilizada de house dance que se populariz\u00f3 en los 80's.

Este estilo de danza tom\u00f3 su nombre de la revista Vogue.

La historia de este genero de baile se remonta a 1969 aproximadamente. En aquel a\u00f1o exist\u00eda un sal\u00f3n de baile llamado Hamilton Lodge<\/em> en el barrio de Harlem en Nueva York. En aquel lugar se realiz\u00f3 un baile de mascaras y fue ah\u00ed donde el Vogue se dio a conocer por primera vez. <\/span><\/p>

Las personas que comenzaron a practicar los primeros pasos de baile eran pertenecientes a la comunidad negra y latina de los a\u00f1os 70’s. Sumado a ello, la mayor\u00eda de sus practicantes eran hombres homosexuales. Hist\u00f3ricamente estas dos comunidades hab\u00edan sido y siguen siendo marginadas<\/em> y discriminadas<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>

Con este estilo de baile tambi\u00e9n conocido como Voguing<\/em>, estos grupos comenzaron a formar una comunidad que no solo les respaldaba, sino que les daba visibilidad. <\/span><\/p>
